Blueberry Buckle
Blueberry Hill
3/4 Cup Sugar |
1/4 Cup Shortening |
1 Egg |
1/2 Cup milk |
2 cups blueberries, well drained |
2 cups floue |
2 tsp. baking powder |
1/2 tsp. salt |
Mix thouroughly together sugar, shortening and egg.
Stir in milk
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Stir in dry Mix
Carefully blend in blueberries.
Spread batter in greased and floured 9 inch pan
Sprinkle Crumb Mixture over top
Bake at 375 F for 45 to 50 minutes (until wooden pick comes out clean)
Crumb Mixture
1/2 cup Sugar |
1/2 tsp. cinnamon |
1/3 cup flour |
1/4 cup soft butter |
Mix all ingredients together
Sprinkle on top of batter
